The motive of editorial photography is to express and engage. It relies more on story than on brand, so provides the most creative freedom for me to play.
My approach is to articulate the beauty of storytelling through photography, capturing ordinary moments, and rendering them extraordinary. Applying the concepts of fairy tale, imagination, and fantastical thinking, to tell a story through the power of an image, rather than words.
My editorial images are created to stop time. To make your audience think, react, and feel.

Sometimes we’re too busy looking the other way (or taking selfies!) to see what’s happening before our very eyes. Our stories and our memories are amongst the most precious things we have. The beauty of photography is its ability to capture them and keep them forever alive.
An image can help you to look back on an ordinary moment, and see the extraordinary in it, holding the key to a memory that would have been locked away forever.
It captures the perfectly imperfect; the raw and the real.

Aiden and Rowan.
In Portuguese AR means air. Which is pretty apt, as these boys are the air that I breathe.
As a photographer, one of my indulgences is capturing the stories of my own children in pictures. During the last lockdown, we created some of my best pieces, and an archive of beautiful images. Something I’ll be forever grateful for, as a treasure map for memories.
Aiden and Rowan have also modelled for brands like Wonderwalls, Curious society, and Hands Up Who Cares. We’re always open to partnerships and collaborations with cool kid’s brands!
